Bikes, Beers & Queens – Women’s MTB Skills Program

A fun, supportive, and flexible 6-week program for women who want to build confidence and take their mountain biking skills to the next level.

Purchase one 6-session pass and ride on Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday — choose sessions from any of our three courses based on your ability and schedule.

Each course includes a complimentary bike maintenance session to keep your ride running smoothly all season.

We offer two tailored options:

  • Grassroots Foundation – Develop your base skills and build confidence on the bike.

  • Advanced Gravity – Refine your technique and get closer to your performance goals.

All sessions are delivered by local, highly qualified and experienced instructors. Our knowledge - your performance.

Expect to build the right foundation that provides measurable on trail stability for future progress.

The gnarly rock section or the steep rock roll won’t feel as threatening anymore once you find out how strong foundations inspire correct movements and influence pressure and timing to make you a competent and composed rider.

  • Bikes, beers and Queens. 6 sessions, 2 hours per session

Designed for confident riders looking to refine technique and tackle more challenging terrain. This course focuses on developing traction, control, and flow on steep and technical trails, alongside progressive jump skills.

    What we will cover:

    1. Body Dynamics & Movement – Learn to stay centred, stable, and in control through rough and steep sections.

    2. Traction & Control on Steeps – Master the movements and pressure control that deliver grip and stability on demanding terrain.

    3. Bike-Body Separation – Develop agility and traction when cornering for sharper, more responsive turns.

    4. Rediscovering Airtime – Part 1 – Positioning, compression, and timing to prepare for jumps with confidence.

    5. Introduction to Cornering – Rotation – Unlock hip movement and rotational control to hold speed and flow through corners.

    6. Rediscovering Airtime – Part 2 – Fine-tune compression management for jumps and drops of varying speed, size, and shape.

    • Level 1 Grassroots: I am comfortable riding cycle trails and gravel tracks and keen to learn mountain biking.
