NEW! 2025 and 2026 Dates

  • This program aims to certify riders—both kids and adults—in practical first aid skills and real-world emergency response scenarios tailored for mountain biking environments.
Participants will gain confidence in handling trail-side injuries, understanding emergency communication, and stabilizing riders until help arrives.

    Training sessions will include:

    • Hands-on first aid practice relevant to MTB-specific incidents.

    • Realistic scenario training based on local terrain and trail conditions.

    • Guidance from experienced first aid instructors and MTB professionals.

    • November 22nd - 23rd 2025

    • December 6-7th 2025

    • January 3-4th 2026

  • The course fee is entirely supported by TRAC - Tahuna Ride and Conservation.
    www.trac.org.nz

This course is community-focused and non-profit in nature.
The fee only covers venue hire, administration, and organizational costs to ensure smooth operation and confirmed attendance.

    • Minimal course fee (to secure your place).

    • Non-refundable within 7 days of the course start date (transfers possible).

  • We’re prioritizing participants who:

    • Frequently ride the Ben Lomond trails, or

    • Hold a Skyline MTB season pass.

This ensures that those most active on the mountain are trained and ready to assist when needed.

Both kids and adults can register.
